By definition a ‘Guru’ is:

• 1) A preceptor giving personal religious instruction
• 2) An intellectual or spiritual guide or leader
• 3) Any person who counsels or advises; mentor or
• 4) A leader in a particular field: the city's cultural gurus.

Is this sounding slightly ominous? We agree!

Just to clarify there will most likely be neither religious instruction nor subtle coaxing towards Scientology on the BT2 Guru Blog. We very much doubt our BT2 Gurus will assume the role of teacher and begin to administer grinds in an effort to coach you through your exams. Nor do we suspect we have the next Mahatma Ghandi, Lao Tzu, Dalai Lama or even Paulo Caelo on our hands. However, who can foretell what secret desires and aspirations lurk beneath a Guru’s surface? Most of all we believe these guys to be ‘leaders in a particular field’, and in turn this ‘city’s cultural gurus’. Although, as first and foremost they are mates of BT2, we’d never tell them so much… so shhh and please don’t inflate their egos.
